Can we win a road game without Big Mike?
I was in Tulsa to see us beat ORU by 3 without Mike. How do UNO and ULL compare to ORU? Heck if I know. We do know there will basically be no home crowd advantage, especially if Chastity's family stays for the men's game. So this may be our best shot at a road win, although UNO is playing better (7-4, since starting the season 0-4). I bet it will be a close game. We are 5-0 in nail-biters this season which is the sign of good coaching, although obviously there is some luck involved as well. Hopefully, Burton will be motivated to play well in his old home town. However, I tend to agree with DI that the rest of the year will be a struggle without Big Mike.

Good thing we've got Bails and Burton to cover until Mike is back.

Bring it, big guy.

I don't think bails or burton can carry mike jock. We need mike. Mike needs us. Can't we all just get along?

I Thought we would have beaten UN T fairly easy if Smith had played. They pretty much had their way inside. But, without Smith the game was played different than usual. The Trojans scrapped hard, and that's what they will have to do to win tonight.

I feel your pain, but I don't think Mike is coming back. According to someone on the board, this is not Mike's first suspension, although obviously the others weren't publicized, and I didn't know anything about them. There could be other issues in play that could mean he's gone for good. This is not definite. But if he doesn't come back, Bails, Burton and Edwards will just have to suck it up and perform. I think they can do it. Burton has been improving all along, and can give us some decent minutes. Bails looked better last game running the floor. So all is not lost if Mike doesn't come back. If he does, then I guess we're in better shape inside.

I think so. We may not be able to do it in the conventional manner, but thsi bunch always seems to be able to squeak by unconventionally.

You may win some games with luck, but you're not ever likely to win a championship depending on luck.

One way or the other, we have it to do, so it is time to get it done.
