Why is that ???

I love a "Good Lush Forest" to go walking in and have thousands of trees that I can stop and 'Mark' every so often.

If we had no plants, all I could pee on would be buildings and all the Wino's have done popped that cherry.

I guess we will all end up like Orwell dreamed - - enclosed and enslaved to a Wonk Machine that is Totalitarian and who feeds us just exactly what we need to basically survive with no luxuries or even treats.

And how in the Universe do you STOP CO2 ??? The Earth spits it out at rates no population could match if they sprayed 1000 cans of hairspray each, every day, for 1000 years ..... we can't kill the Earth .... WE CAN'T !!!

I am sorry to burst a lot of bubbles, but we do not have even the Gray Matter Intelligence to cause injury to the Planet .... it has survived things that would have removed us Immediately from the face of all things.

Who do these Scientist believe them selves and us to be ??? That they give us the Awesome AWESOME Power to destroy something we could not destroy if WE TRIED WITH ALL OUR MIGHT .... 03-lmfao 03-lmfao 03-lmfao

You have got to love 'em though ... they do provide comedy ..... 04-rock

Why is it that the most polluted cities in the country are ran by liberals, and some of the most rural, tree-filled, and pristine woodland areas ran by conservatives? Maybe some of you libs can 'splain that one to me.

03-melodramatic It was a joke that went WAY over your head. Sorry. It wasn't intentional but it is not all that difficult to go over your head. 05-stirthepot

So you tell jokes that aren't funny and you laugh at posts that aren't funny. And I was beginning to think you had a sense of humor.

Where do you fly this flag?

I don't think I(or firmbizzle) have ever seriously thought you had no pumbing or a decent house. It is just the south has been slow moving to the 21st century so it is easy to laugh at your expense.

...and what's that flag supposed to mean, Robert? Some kind of charge of racism for us "inbred southerners in the South with dirt roads"?

Here's a question for YOU, why did the Union have 3 slave-holding states fighting for the union if it was supposed to be some moral war to end slavery?

See, I don't deal in idiotic innuendo or stereotypes. I deal in reality. Sadly, I'm thinking that's out of your grasp.

BTW, I've personally seen a ton of gravel and dirt roads in the North. ...and no, my gated community is paved quite nicely, if I do say so myself.

Here are some pics of lovely downtown Los Angeles. Is LA conservative or liberal?

BTW, Reb, nice digs. How big is that check you send to Al Gore to offset your carbon footprint?

Slow to move to the 21st C?
Really? And where do you get your info from?
http://www.census.gov/Press-Release/www/...09865.html

Says things differently.

These guys don't look so idle to me:
http://www.researchtriangle.org/pages.ph...&page_id=6

And look at this list
http://collegeapps.about.com/od/colleger...public.htm

How many of those top schools are in the "South"? Compare to "North"

Or look here
http://content.kiplinger.com/tools/colle...utby=table

Where are the Top 5 on this list? Check out the Top 20.

How many "Northern" cities make this list?
http://www.fastcompany.com/magazine/126/...oints.html

Such ignorance. But, I've rarely seen otherwise from Chicago/IL folks.

Hah!

There is this blue Mazda minivan in my neighborhood that had a bumper sticker that said something like " This car's mileage paid for by purchasing carbon credits" or something like that.

That sticker is no longer on the car. Still has a Franken sticker though.....
