Yeah she kind of dropped off the reality scope for a while.

Remember when she "bought that entire town", then balked on a signed movie contract, got sued, went bankrupt, lost everything, and basically had to start over.

She still has severe panic attacks to this day ... I guess she could not handle her own fame and it blew her mind.

When she is not working, she is a recluse because of the panic attacks ... I feel for her on that one.

And yep, most of the time, the woman is going to come out way ahead of the guy in a divorce ... and women want so-called "Equality" .... LOL

You gotta see Alec Baldwin in The Cooler

Maria Bello & William H Macy too. Baldwin does an outstanding job.

I guess what I am saying about Baldwin and others like him, is that when you see him kicking ass in something as bold as 'Red October', then he just goes totally flat after that kind of star recognition, you get less than enamored with him.

You always expect the same caliber of performance as "Red October" and when they don't deliver, you know they have become spoiled and don't care.

That is when I stop supporting them and their movies .... I think he got the hint with the huge sag he has had in his career and the Daughter/Father phone call didn't help - - so it may have spurred him into giving us back the Jack Ryan power of 'Red October'.

Like the comparison of 'Mercury Rising' ..... Bruce Willis never fails to give it 1000% and Baldwin had a chance to be a really strong character in that role, yet he just played thru it and you can't do that against a Bruce Willis who is always on game ... even when he is in bad movies/bad scripts, Willis never fails to give it all he has.

Huge sag in his career? The guys won an Emmy and a Golden Globe in the past year for 30 Rock. I have a feeling that show treats him pretty well financially too.

He was great in "The Departed". I agree he's had some less than stellar career moments. Kind of like Tom Cruise, but i loved him in Tropical Thunder. That Les Grossman character was classic. G5 pecker!!!

I know he has done TV ... but if you ask most "Movie Actors" if they would rather be doing "Movies or TV" ... what do you think they will say ???

They do TV to eat, they do Movies because they love it.

His career hit the skids for a long while and I don't care how many awards he as "Recently Won", the guy was the 80's Brad Pitt's Brad Pitt - - LOL - and for years, every movie that hit the theaters starred Alec Baldwin ... then NADA. Except for bit parts where he was not even a 'Supporting Actor'.

Why on Earth are we arguing about Alec Baldwin .... 03-lmfao 03-lmfao 03-lmfao

Don't we have Global Warming or Global Cooling or Global Lukewarm to argue about ?? 03-lmfao 03-lmfao 03-lmfao

And believe me, I was the Major in an episode of Rescue 911 and it took us a week to shoot just 15 minutes of TV, working from daylight until dark - - it was some of the most tedious and monotonous work I have ever had to fool with and I could not see my self doing this on a Weekly Hour Long Series unless I was one desperate and hungry dog.

Stardom is not worth that kind of crap ....

Give me a Movie Role and I am your guy ... 02-13-banana 04-cheers 04-rock
