There are 270 non BCS schools. We are currently ranked #148 among all 343 schools playing D1 ball. If "mediocre" means somewhere around the middle, I guess that would accurately describe our program. Whether that's good enough to satisfy our fans is not for me to say.
Personally, I'd like to get to a point where we're at least in the Top 100 consistently.

Sure we would love that, and if we do it, we will be one of the better non-BCS programs in the country.

I'd prefer to be know as the Little Rock Trojans of the South, or Southwest, not the Gonzaga of that region.

Problem is, many people don't make the distinction. Outside of the SEC, sports fans don't think about Fayetteville, they know "Arkansas" and assume everything is in Little Rock anyway. I get that a lot.
