I deleted the posts that we had while we were using this as our "secret board" but that brought up posts from 2002. Was this the board for ualr before robert c and a state fan setup the littlerocktrojans board?

Is this the "official" UALR board now?

Hello. I am Hilltopper 2K, WKU class of 2000 thus the name. I was known as "WKU FAN HERE" on the other Little Rock board and go by WKU_SLAM_DUNK on the Sunbelt board and Rivals and Scout. I have never successfully gotten on the Haven.

Having posted regularly on the old WKU board here at ncaabbs I have to say excellent choice if this is indeed your new board. The features, ease of use and sense of community are the absolute best I have seen on any message board site. You will love it here!

I wish that the WKU board here had stayed active, but it really died off when the Scout board started up. The shame of it is that Scout isn't as nice of a board even though it is more well known.

No, insideualr, it was not. Some people used it a little back then but it never caught on because we were committed to littlerocktrojans.

For those interested, here's the history. Message board activity among UALR fans started on third-party sites I did not control (run by tv stations, magazines, etc). In Fall 1996, I started a website called "the Rock" on my personal webspace (no domain name yet) as a place where you could see links to media sites and message boards relating to the Trojans. I placed a prominent link on The Rock homepage to these bulletin boards (as they were called back then). That continued until I found a site called sportsonly.com and signed up for a free board. I operated "the Rock board" from about 1998-2001 until the banner ads and popups began ruining the experience. After many complaints from users and a few emails, I redirected everyone to a new board on a new collaborative site operated by the founders of tribalgrounds.com (ASU) and the Pigpen (UAF). I registered littlerocktrojans.com and pointed it there. We had at least one major upgrade on there. As I recall, we did not upgrade to the forum arkst.com (formerly tribalgrounds) uses now because at the time we did not want to require registration. We eventually had to require a login to block the porn spam.

We did not move over here because of any service problems from the people at arkst.com. arkstfan is a great guy and served us well for many years. It was time for an upgrade and this site provided a good opportunity.
