I looked at the WKU board mentioned above and the last post on it was in august....hmmmm

I read a bit more about the WKU board. They largely abandoned thier ncaabbs board for another provider that had multiple forums (divided by sport). I don't think we need that with our traffic level. I don't care for multiple forums except for having a private board for regulars by invitation only.

That would be nice.

Nah. We can do multiple forums. The WKU fans that posted here were here because they didn't like the current most popular WKU board... in particular its moderation. They never reached large enough numbers to be self-sustaining.

I'm glad you are here. One of the reasons we switched was because of the problems you and a few others have had getting the old board to work for them. I say we just go ahead and post away on this board. I am going to add a link to this one on the Littlerocktrojans home page and once I get the redirection set up everybody will be funneled over here. Before we get started officially I want to make sure we survive the big upgrade that georgia_tech_swagger mentioned at the top of this board.

Robert C, I don't know who may have the expertise to set the board up. But it would be nice to have the front page have a RSS feed to UALR official site for news. Also, it would be nice to have a private forum and a separate forum for recruiting info. The official site sells photos and I wouldn't mind chipping in to buy a couple of photos to use for the site. Also, a chat would be nice for game day conversation. Thanks for the work you do.

What I am planning now is the extent of my human "bandwidth" as they say. Someone else really needs to pick up that task. Maybe Rashad can talk some young person with time on his hands to do it. They can register their own domain name and set up a site like the UCA fans have. I would even volunteer to point mine at their site. We deserve at least as much. With all the buzz among the students right now I'd like to see one step up. I really do not have the time or know-how to figure out how to set all that up right now. I would love to, but I would end up in a world of personal hurt.
