Quantify & define FINE.

Slightly better than last year (# of wins). Not as good as we'd like, but also not as good as we will be next year.

Illinois versus Mizzou is going to be fun. Don't discount Bruce Weber's squad this year. He's got some nice pieces to the puzzle that are starting to develop. Weber can flat out coach too. It's the recruiting that has been the problem. But he seems to be turning the corner on that front.

DF,

Have you ever considered running for public office? You have honed the required art & skill of tap dancing.

Any number fewer than 11 wins is not much progress IMO from year one to year two.

I don't foresee 18 wins in 2009/10 either.

Pioneers crossing Donner Pass had greater success.

Bball is a sport fans should expect a faster turn around than compared to football. NIU fans should NOT set the bar this season nor next too low.
