Question For BSU Fans
This is for the fans that went to the International Bowl last year, or know people that did.
There are not a whole lot of lots around the Skydome like there are at Ralph Wilson Stadium (even as a Giants fan Bills tailgating makes me ), or UB Stadium, or basically any football stadium in the US.
Where or what did people do for tailgating?

RE: Question For BSU Fans
Honestly, I don't recall a lot of tailgating last year. Now, I stayed downtown so I used the underground tunnel system to get around. Didn't really get near the parking lot until we got out of the tunnel walking towards the stadium. It was pretty damn cold last year, but I am sure the weather is no different from what you all get in Buffalo.
The problem is the game is in the morning, so downtown atleast, there was not a bunch open. We had a couple of coolers in our hotel room so we "tailgated" with a few soda's beforehand there. Ball State had a pre-game rally in the Skydome restaurant where there was a breakfast buffet. I recall Bloody Mary's, but that's about it. After the game though, Toronto was really happening. Lots to do.
Obviously, since so many of us had to travel so far, a lot of our fans parked their cars for the weekend and just used public trans or just walked. I know as a whole (besides the game) it was a very cool experience. I really enjoyed Toronto, so much that the wife and I would like to go back when it's warmer. It really reminded me of Chicago.
Have fun...

On a related note, here's a good site to find some watering holes nearby the Rogers Center.

We were lucky when we went to the bowl. It was unusually mild for that time of year (50 degrees).
We didn't look around much for tailgating, though, and I don't know how much of it there actually was. As was pointed out, we also had a pre-game banquet and rally as well at stadium that morning, so tailgating wasn't on the agenda.
Also, a large chunk of Bronco fans drove to Windsor, then took the train to Toronto. Relatively inexpensive and no hassles with driving.
