We were on his list at one point. He would have been a huge get. Oh well, you can't get them all.

Big mistake, He may not even get drafted, and if he does it wont be until mid to late second round.

Agreed. I don't think he'll even be drafted. Maybe he will take advantage of the new rule.

It is so sad to see such talented highschool players pursue a dream that they think is in their grasp, but then they soon realize that they weren't ready yet.

Usually it is too late and they are already mid-way through their first NBA season and have only played a combined 37 minutes on the year and they average less than 3 points. By then so much has already passed them by....

I tend to agree, hoops, but...

It seems that more and more high schoolers are becoming stars. I don't think Deangelo Collins will ever be one, but it's really amazing how many high schoolers have become stars.

I never really thought we had a shot at DeAngelo, but it was good exposure and a positive sign that we were on the list of a highly touted player.
