Was it this A&M bookstore? The one where they boarded up the windows in advance of Hurricane Rita, and nailed the boards on the inside of the windows, leaving the glass outside exposed to the hurricane?

It looks like Loupot's in the Northgate. I remember there used to be a porno movie house in the second story in the late 1970s. It was interesting to see genitals fill up an entire movie screen in one of the porno close ups.
