Not sure how much this means for UAB. I'm no math major, but I do know 4>2>1.

I'm thinking the take might cover our plane flights and hotel bill.

Flights, hotel bills, $185/day per diem are covered expenses. The 4 shares are after all expenses are paid.

Would we get anything extra for winning the NIT or advancing to the championship game?

$185 per diem for 12 players plus a couple of coaches? That's only a little over $10 a person!
