Quote:The balance of such net revenues shall be divided into 32 sharing units. One (1) unit shall be distributed to each institution for participating in the first two games at each site but failing to win their first contest. Two (2) sharing units shall be distributed to each institution winning the first of two games but losing the second. The four (4) schools advancing to competition in New York each shall receive a total of four (4) units.

Not sure how much this means for UAB. I'm no math major, but I do know 4>2>1.

I'm thinking the take might cover our plane flights and hotel bill.

Flights, hotel bills, $185/day per diem are covered expenses. The 4 shares are after all expenses are paid.

RE: Pocket Change
Would we get anything extra for winning the NIT or advancing to the championship game?

RE: Pocket Change
$185 per diem for 12 players plus a couple of coaches? That's only a little over $10 a person!

That's how I read it. You can get pretty fat off a per diem that big.

And I bet the team covers meals on top of that like they do for every other road game.

Thats just extra spending money for the players.

Not bad.
