My ears were bleeding............

Well...... I could post some "band logic"..... but it won't help. That school is not known for having a very good band. Her husband is the Troy University band director. Unfortunately, the group at the game yesterday obviously was not very good. It is sad when a group messes up the National Anthem though.

That band stunk. During the National Anthem when they did the two or three bar solo with the two piccolos trying to carry the tune my eyes met Smaug's and we both had to look away quick to keep from busting out laughing in the middle of the anthem.

Lord, I wouldn't disrespect those kids' effort, or the anthem, but those piccolos had dogs howling all over Pike County.

Speaking of warming up the tractors, I could not understand why the ref called to, then motioned traveling.

The ref was allowing UAB to substitute without the two teams going to the bench for a time out. I've seen that done when there was no hope of the other team winning.
