Great to hear. I wish i could of gone, but i had to work. I expected the win, just not that big of a win. Seems like we shot lights out.

Like mentioned before, this is still without two of our better players.

How did we do causing turnovers? I cant find stats for that right now.

We had good ball pressure most of the game, but our rotations still could use some work. This is not unsurprising considering the amount of new players we are working into the system. Most of the new players did a very good job tonight for their first game.

The new guys seem awesome. Dixon and Woods really impressed tonight. So did 33. I think once we get Mitchell back in down low we will be much better. JD and Jmac looked great. I could not believe how many three pointers we hit.

Yea, the three pointers were outrageous tonight. Seemed like we couldn't miss. I also liked how many players we were able to get in tonight. Should have fresh legs for tomorrow's game. Lets hope for a repeat performance.

What a game. I never would've imagined a 30-point lead. At this point in our transition, a game like that against any D-I team is cause for optimism. Everyone's right - you live by the three, you die by the three, so we certainly won't be on fire from outside like that every game, but it's good to know we have multiple players capable of hitting from outside in a clutch, as opposed to one or two players.

Now let's see if we can start the season with two wins against Maine.

Go Owls!

interesting side bar on the attendance...on the final stats sheet it has the attendance listed as 1,102. that is very poor. i'm somewhat disappointed in it being the first game of the season. Maybe there will be a better crowd tonight because they are calling this one the homecoming game. maybe, i guess we'll wait and see.

That is about what I would have guessed from watching online...right at about 1,000. Last night was an exciting game, so hopefully everyone there will bring somebody back tonight.

I wasnt able to go and I'm still bummed about it. I'm working tonight too which pisses me off. I'm now setting my schedule to where i can see our home games and the UGA game.

The reason for the attendance being poor, were a combination of two things. Really there was very little promotion for the game, and the game was on a Friday. A lot of our students leave campus on Friday.
