per ESPN.com...

Guard Travis Hanour, who played for the Arizona team that lost in the 2001 national championship game, has transferred to San Diego State.

Hanour and center Chris Manker, formerly of Oregon State, signed national letters of intent with the Aztecs. Hanour and Manker, who were prep teammates at Laguna Beach, Calif., will be eligible to play in December.

Hanour and Manker both transferred to Irvine Valley College last season, where they did not play. They will each have three years of eligibility remaining.

They join guard Brandon Heath, a senior at Westchester High in Los Angeles, who signed during the early period.

"We have added quality people and talented individuals to an emerging program," said coach Steve Fisher, who in his third season led the Aztecs to a 21-12 record and their first NCAA tournament appearance in 17 years.

Hanour averaged 3.2 points as a freshman at Arizona. He cited personal reasons for leaving the Wildcats in October. At the time, he was expected to challenge for a starting spot.

Manker averaged 1.6 points and two rebounds in the 2000-01 season as a freshman at Oregon State.
