Doesn't sound like weather that plays to NIU's advantage at all. Especially given that Dan Lefevour and Brian Brunner play their home games in frigid Mt. Pleasant Michigan.

Slick field and chilly temperatures definitely not a good night for throwing the ball. As much as you like CMU, I hate to tell you, NIU wins this one.

How does dry weather and 44 degree temperature equate to "slick field"??

GOing to rain most of the night tonight, and then tomorrow off and on rain...field is going to be wet.

Sometimes it's just nice to have hope in something, regardless of how unlikely it's going to happen.

Rains subside at 3pm.

Grounds crew uses shop vacs & sucks up any excess standing water then six blackhawk helicopers are positioned all afternoon rotating blases while parked on floor of Huskie Stadium. Cheer squad utilizes 18 rented leaf blowers and band uses battery operated hand held hair dryers in pregame to finish mop up. Slick field solved.

Yes, I'm drinking early again.

If weather & field conditions are poor, advantage goes to neither.

If winds are a factor , whoever wins coin toss and chooses wind for fourth quarter -like BGSU game - wins a close game.

Oh, well since no one has convinced you in a way that you're comfortable with it must be a blow out. 01-wingedeagle

Sh!t, don't bother watching or going to the game. Michael says it's a CMU blow out. Don't waste your time. 03-zzz

We should win, and please do not expect a Bowl game.
Let's aim for a winning season.

Excuse me, but can anyone tell me where the article on tonight's game is in the Sun-Times? I see a little mention in a window on page 66, but I must have missed the article in the middle of all the ND and Northwestern arse-kissing. Gee, my eyes must be really failing me in old age!
