Okay, let's do that GTS.
First of all, of the "big 6", the PAC10 is 6th. ACC 2nd, Big East 5th.
Now, lets go review his numbers for the past 3 years (including this year).
2007 - Big East 4th, ACC 5th.
2006 - Big East 2nd, ACC 4th.
Average for Big East = 3.67
Average for ACC = 3.67
ACC is certainly head and shoulders better than the Big East...
The Big East has finished ahead of the ACC 2 of the last 3 years...
BCS bowl games... head to head during that time, BE wins (Louisville over Wake Forest). West Virginia is 2-0 during that time with wins over Oklahoma and Georgia. Overall BCS record is 3-0 during that time frame.
ACC record during that time, 0-3. ACC's record in BCS games since the inception, 1-9, Big East 6-4.
So keep talking all you want about the Big East being mid-major, but remember you just cause your own conference to look worse thanks to the association.
Who exactly is not a major?
As I said above, if the Big East is not major, then neither is the ACC.
