Adios Clintons???
Does Obama's victory mean the end of the road for the Clinton machine?

Or will Hillary rise from the political dead in 4 years to challenge as a MODERATE to the radical Obama?

I don't see either Bill or Hillary fading away into the sunset.

They'll fade away as the electorate moves in another direction.

More importantly, the media has turned their back on Clinton as they can't get enough of Obama.

All three of the non cable networks used the phrase "new Camelot" or "new Jackie" or "New JFK" repeatably last night. The media has turned their back on the Clintons.

I do believe the Clinton's will be shepherded out into the sunset. Quietly? Probably not. But relegated to the sideline? Absolutely.

And take Al Gore with em!

While Bill was a smooth politician and moderate democrat, Hillary's far left positions along with her crappy ability to speak to crowds prevent her from going any farther up the political ladder. If I had their money I'd pack it up and live a comfy life outside of politics.

RE: Adios Clintons???
Hillary Clinton will remain the Democratic Senator from New York until 2012. She has a great chance at picking up the Liberal Lion mantle in the Senate from Ted Kennedy over the next few years. It is very possible that she eventually replaces Harry Reid as Democratic leader or, at least, becomes one of the most powerful members of the Senate for however long she remains there.

The other possibility is that Joe Biden might only serve only one term as Vice-President. He is 66 now and will be 70 in 2012. That is pretty much retirement age. President Obama could very well tap Hillary Clinton to be his second Vice-President at that point. Then she would have an excellent shot at being elected President in 2016 if an eight-year Obama administration goes well.
