I love how the Pro-McCain argument is Obama will ruin the world. Is their a real Pro-McCain argument?

An excellent point. The past 3 elections all the DNC could muster as a platform has been 'ABB'. The GOP is telling in that it doesn't have any clear vision or leadership either. I suspect that's why Palin is more popular than McCain...she's shown some leadership and there's hope she could do more.

I wouldn't know, I'm not pro-McCain. I would vote for him anyday over Obama if those were the only two choices, but there are a handful of people I would rather have than McCain.

Is there a real pro-Obama argument other than "I like change!" Is certainly can't be his economic/tax policies if you know ANYTHING about either of the two. And it certainly can't be his experience.

I agree with this post whole heartedly.

Mysterious recounts is only one reason I think it will happen. i am expecting the mystery state this year to be at least one of Florida, Ohio or Pennsylvania.

Another reason is because I think that McCain is getting traction by going with the old Republican standby on taxes and Obama's "Spreading the wealth" comment.

The final reason will be race. I still don't believe there are enough Americans out there who will vote for a minority to be the POTUS.

Oh well, I will be voting for Obama tomorrow and going to sleep tomorrow night wondering who my President will be.

If this were really an issue, it would have been brought up with this kind of fervor at anytime in the 9 months since he said it.

It is being brought up at the 11th hour to hopefully swing a swing state to red. It's nothing more than a desperate soundbyte, and cheeseball partisan politics at its worst.

Obama and Biden have the same problem, they don't know when the tape is rolling and they don't know how to restrain themselves. Biden -Coal is a problem. Obama - sure you can build a power plant with coal but we'll tax you out of existence. Biden - He's going to be tested. Obama - Let's spread the money around a little. Obama - I never heard Wright say anything like that. And of course, "Clinging to their guns and religion really will help him in PA". Obama - Bill Ayres is just a neighbor of mine. Obama should just keep on shovelling those lovely sounding phrases which say nothing.

Agree.

How sad.

Robert, I think McCain will pull it out.

I don't see how that would help him win. If anything it might turn off some voters. 03-wink

I drove from VA to OH today. In small town OH outside of Wheeling, the local paper's HEADLINE was about Obama's comments on coal. Don't tell me these folks don't care, or aren't pissed that this info wasn't high profile early on.

Thank you news media for being the watchdog and always looking out for the little guy.

You people in PA, OH, MI, WV and VA better NEVER FORGET THAT THIS WAS A HIDDEN VERY IMPORTANT ISSUE AND YOU NEED TO REMIND YOUR CONGRESSIONAL REPRESENTATIVES OF IT SOON AND OFTEN.

They have short memories. :muttering:

Yeah, but that really didn't hit the mainstream until Sunday night. I would imagine there's a TON of Ohioans, Pennsylvanians, West Virginians, and Kentuckians who are having some MAJOR buyer's remorse right now because they early voted.

....but you're right about the news. They should be tarred and feathered. They cared more about Sarah's wardrobe and Joe Wurzlebacher's driving record to worry about small details like, oh, I don't know, BARACK'S QUALIFICATIONS!!.

There is a poll starting tomorrow through Saturday to see if there is any "Buyers Remorse" in terms of Obama.
