Ron Paul could cost McCain Montana
So ... Paul supporters in Montana rallied and had Ron Paul put on the state ballot as the Constitution Party candidate instead of Chuck Baldwin.

The result? The latest Montana State University-Billings Poll:

Obama 44.4%
McCain 40.2%
Ron Paul 4.2%
Nader 0.7%
Bob Barr 1%
Undecided 9.5%

Burn baby burn. Maybe if the GOP freefalls far enough people like Mark Sanford and Jeff Flake and Mark Sanford and BJ Lawson can take control of it.

Burn Baby BURN!!!!!!!!!! Maybe we can get a viable national party in the future. Today's GOP can not survive outside of the bible belt. Look at the NE. Are there any Republican's left?

OK, here we go.

MONTANA went ...
2004 = Republican
2000 = Republican
1996 = Republican
1992 = Democrat
1988 = Republican
1984 = Republican
1980 = Republican
1976 = Republican
1972 = Republican

So it wouldn't be unprecedented, but it certainly doesn't fit the pattern.

But the same thing seems possible in Colorado. It went Republican the last three elections after going blue in 1992 (after a loooong run in red).

Sounds pretty stupid. Since my guy can't possibly win, I'll try to help make sure that the worst guy wins?
