Capitanes de Arecibo (BSN) agreed terms with 29-year old Puerto Rican ex-international center Angel Garcia (209-88, college: Memphis). He played most recently at Toyama Grouses in Japanese B League, but left the team in Dec.'16. In 13 games he had 6.0ppg and 4.1rpg last season.
The previous (15-16) season Garcia was tested by Toyama Grouses (BJ League) in Japan.
The list of the past achievements is quite long as among others he was voted Latinbasket.com Puerto Rican BSN All-Newcomers Team back in 2013.
Garcia was also a member of Puerto Rican international program for some years. He played for Puerto Rican Senior National Team between 2010 and 2013 and previously for U21 National Team in 2006.
Garcia also represented Puerto Rico at the Centrobasket in San Juan (Puerto Rico) six years ago. His team won Silver and his stats at that event were 6 games: 5.5ppg, 3.2rpg, 1.0apg, FGP: 68.8%, 3PT: 14.3%, FT: 57.1%.

I think in today's NBA, Angel could be a 1st round draft pick. They put so much premium on 3-pt shooting.
