MWC with 2 teams in the top 15 this week
I hated to see TCU drop from the top 25, but that the breaks. I was very happy to see BYU and Utah climb up the polls.
BYU #7 in the Coaches Poll and #8 in the AP Poll
Utah #15 in the Coaches Poll and #15 in the AP Poll

I smell a guaranteed BCS bowl for the MWC unless both of them lose before the Holy War, then maybe it goes to Boise State.

Say BYU & Utah are undeafeted going into last game, Can the MWC get 2 BCS berths. SEC & B-12 are locks, PAC-10, BE & ACC are unlikly to get 2. It's Looks like it comes down to MWC & B-10. Wisc & Ohio st play this wkend & both have Penn St on sch. Granted every thing Has to break right, Okla vs SEC in NCG, PennSt in Rose, Ala/LSU in Sugar

It is my understanding that once the non-Auto schools became part of the BC$ and the entry level was lowered from 6 to 12 and the guaranteed $9+ million every year. The down side was only highest team (one) would receive an invite and the payout would be in the $9 million range (not $17 to $18 million range) for all non-Auto conferences. With the conference with the team making it getting $6 million off the top before the rest being divided between the 5 non-Auto conferences according to to the BC$ Power Ranking.
I could be wrong with the way I understand how it works. But it seems like another thing is from what I understand only a conference champion from a non-Auto conference can make it to a BC$ Bowl game.

I believe that only one non-BCS school would be guarented a berth, They other [non-BCS]schools would be in at-large pool as long the within criteria. now getting 2 schools up there & getting a Bowl to pick them is different story.
9 wins & top 14, now if B-10, BE, ACC & pac-10 have nobody ranked higher than 15, then UTAH would be in.

Now payouts should work to non-BCS advantage. With Okla-SEC NCG, Fiesta gets 1st & 3rd pick & Sugar Bowl gets 2nd pick. Fiesta takes Utah & pays 4.5 million, Sugar Bowl takes SEC & pays 4.5 million, Fiesta takes Missouri & pays 4.5 million, Sugar takes BYU & pays 9 million, Orange bowl has to take USF & pay 18 million.
Now TV has a role in who getting picked, MWC would be better off if Tex is ranked higher than Missouri.

That could be right, but the BC$ is not all that free with the actual information...
