That's awesome. What's the mood following the AZ game? AZ is a hard team to figure out.

Some fans are pretty optimistic and some aren't. I think we got a good team. We had a starting offensive lineman out for the game and another played injured and didn't play the whole game and started two freshman on the O-Line, yet we only gave up one sack the entire game.

Our defense had flashes of being good and stopped Arizona on a 3 and out to start the game and then forced them into field goal attempts a few times when it looked like they were going to go down and score. That's an improvement from last year.

Nick Moore didn't really play for us against Arizona because of an injury and the coaches didn't want to take any chances with him with a conference game the following week. That hurt our passing game a bit, but it still did pretty good. Stephen Williams had 12 receptions against a pretty solid Arizona defense.

I think that overall Toledo is going to be much better this year and have a say in the West Division Title race.

Put me down on the optimistic side. Toledo has great talent at the skill positions and the weaknesses we saw playing a Pac-10 team are easily remedied for the most part.

From what I have seen so far, I think the West is wide open. I hope the Glass Bowl is rockin and sends Fresno home with an ugly L. I'm sick of all the WAC hype
