Thought I heard it correct, so I had to check. Watching the Ball State, Navy game they mentioned that one of the BSU d-lineman was 32 years old,a nd sure enough, he is, with Junior eligibility. I dont think Ive ever heard of a college player that old before, I know Chris Weinke was about 27 at Florida State. Got to be a bit wierd for a 32 yr old hangin with 18, 19 and 20 year old kids, doesnt it?

32??? A babe. I'm a washed up 44. Give me one play. I'm in pretty good shape. I was decently fast in my day (4.68 forty was my best). I can have an impact for 1 play!...........burial to follow.

Someone correct me but at one time there used to be age limits in college athletics?

Didn't want 28 year olds beating up on 19 year olds.

I went to their roster and found him, last name is Crawford, born in 1976 and he`s a captain.

I do not know about the age limit thing but he is a 32 yr old former marine. He blocked the FG attempt in OT to beat Navy last year.

I think there is a NCAA exemption with regards to military. If the guy started at another school, then got called up, he still may be able to retain elligbility, but don't quote me.
