Shy Interesting take on the Bobcats
What a great day for a football game in Laramie.

I just got home from attending the game. What I saw made me appreciate the talented players and coaching we have in Athens.

OK, a loss is not what anyone wanted but I have some obsevations that I would like to share.

1. Pre-game. The Bobcats were ready for this game. They were obviously well schooled and intense. Best of all they were well conditioned.

2. Team speed. Wow! There are some real speed demons on this years squad. We will have fun following this group of players this year.

.......................................................

12. Overall offense. This years team will be fun to watch. They are talented and focused. I expect many records to fall this year and many points scored.

13. Overall defense. The defense is solid and focused. The line played well but could be 20 pounds heavier per man overall anjd they are a bit undersized. There were some breakdowns and penalties but this unit plays as one and will be very good this season. I was most impressed with their ability to work together and staying focused each play.

14. Attitude. This team is united, motivated and goal driven. I talked to several players after the game. They were disappointed but not beaten. They seem to have that special team chemistry that is hard to obtain.

RE: Interesting take on the Bobcats
Taylor Price of Ohio leads the nation in receptions with 14....The triple option days of run right, run left, run up the middle and then pooch a punt inside the 20 and hope the defense gets a pick six are over. Ohio offense is now been transformed into a unit that stretches the field. Wyoming was in cover 2 the entire game because they feared Ohio's speedy receivers getting behind them. Think of the BGSU teams of Omar Jacobs and that is what Ohio is like now. They have dual threat Qb's and a core of receivers and quick backs out of the back field. Imagine teams thinking about double covering a Bobcat wideout? I don't think that has ever happened. Only 1 sack given up Saturday was another key stat. They just need to mature and finish drives and reduces penalties.

Interesting take? Or completely ignoring the many mistakes that were made evident? 0-4 start. Mark it down.

Hmm....

So what do you suggest as the solution? You obviously are dissatisfied with Frankie and are looking for regime change.

Should we fire Frank and hire Bill Parcels?

I'm not asking for a regime change, you nit wit. I just think that this was another game where Solich made questionable calls during the game. At the end of the 2nd half, he should have kicked the field goal and taken the 3 points.

I don't really care what you are thinking.

What I'm telling you is if you are so dissatisfied with the program as is, the answer is to bring in the Tuna.

If you are not willing to bring in the Tuna shut your mouth and support the program.

Quite a false dichotomy you've got there: Either support the program or bring in Bill Parcells?

You + Gooch = Ohio's Yin & Yang

OUBOBCATJOHN - comparing Ohio's offense to the Omar Jacobs-led Falcons? Wow. If Ohio can put up those types of numbers on offense, they'll be tough to stop.

BGSU1987, I just try to be objective and realistic about my team.

Kit Cat & ouBJ, on the other hand, are all over the place.
