RE: Congrats BGSU
I wanted to drop in and congratulate BGSU as well. Didn't want to start another thread (since there already is one), so I thought I'd post it here...

Great job, BGSU!

I didn't get to see any of the game but i followed it a bit when i could on ESPN scoreboard. I also heard some rumblings on the boards that the refs were trying to shaft you guys.

Congrats BGSU!

Thanks guys. Was at the game yesterday and was a very proud Falcon fan walking out. Sure takes the sting outta that GMAC Bowl debacle in Jan.

It's just one game but I think our D unit is night and day better. We *could* have a special season IF we stay healthy.

GO FALCONS!!! GO MAC!!!

Just a great win. Didn't let the refs decide it. TOOK the game, which is what MAC teams must do.

I'm a Dolphins fan...I hate Wandstat
I hate the Big Least for obvious reasons
and It's a MAC victory over a BCS foe.

I listened on the radio and The pitt announcers were talking about how bad the BG team looked before there first touchdown. How pitt just has so much more talent and better athletes... Then they said trick plays and muddle huddles don't win football games. Then they were saying Pitt better wake up and how tired they looked... Then they were saying that Pitt lost... LOL

LOL! No doubt BG was in better shape than Pitt. By the end of the 3rd, Pitt looked gassed.

At any rate, I'll take the win thank you. 04-rock

Well Pitt may have better talent and athletes coaching lost us the game. B.G. has a great coach and made the adjustments that Wanny lacked. Congrats on the win.

RE: Congrats BGSU
Well done Falcons! There was a buzz amongst the Bronco contingent in Lincoln watching games in the bar while waiting for our game to start over the big win for BG and the MAC. Watching the scores crawl on the bottom of the screen, we were even pulling for our next opponent, NIU to take down another BCS team. Good effort from NIU even though it fell short.

I love watching the BCS media slappies stammer and stutter when trying to come up with excuses. All they end up doing is making themselves look silly.

One more item - the celebration penalty HAS TO GO. That was B.S. and the BG team managed to rise above it.

On television, the announcers kept praising the Pitt running backs, the solid play of the QB, and the play calling of Matt Cananaugh. Seemed justified when it was 14-0.

I don't think Pitt was the same after that swinging gate play 03-nutkick

Talent is not as much of a factor in college football as it is in some sports e.g. college basketball.

Pitt has SLIGHTLY more talent than BG. In a one game face off, BG with excution can beat a BG.

I won't bring up the Tulsa score anymore. That was last season.

Good job Falcons.

I don't find it odd- it actually happens pretty much every spring.
