Bush/McCain?????

I just want to remind you that we are still in Germany. What would be wrong with us setting up a base in Iraq (if they let us of course)?

03-lmfao:lmfao:We all damn well know that we will NEVER leave Iraq, just as we continue to occupy 130+ bases in 70+ countries.
And of course with a Federal Reserve that can make money appear out of the thin air...We have a unlimited amount of stolen assets to finance these boondogles. We have become the very blood sucking parasite of a nation that the founders excaped. Hell...Bring back King George....If memory serves me correct his tax rate was around 4 to 5%.03-lmfao

how do you reconcile that with facts? like we left the Phillipines after they asked us to. We are about to leave Ecuador because the contract is up, their Govt. has gone Marxist/Chavez and they no longer want us there. Though Columbia does now.?

the "war" in Iraq is over and has been for sometime, its all about construction and iran at this point. Al-Qaeda retreated awhile back, in defeat. which is why Afghanistan is a hot spot again.

Goods don't magically move from point A to point B, and there are plenty of criminals in the world that would love to interfer. If the US Military withdrawals from the world, what fills the vaccuum will be ugly. The world will become poorer and more dangerous. i.e. Less Liberty

And yet how do you reconcile putting the "unborn" into the slavery of debt for generations to come to finance "your" goals. I fail to see any virtue in that position. I reject this policy on its pure nature of evil.

You can point to a few times that "we have left"...now what about the rest....Oh I forgot...You dont mind the evil of taxing the unborn for your boondogles.

I dont propose to "withdraw" from the world...I just see very little need for the numbers of ground troops and bases we occupy. Most of your concerns with commerce could be handled with a "constitutionally permitted" naval force to patrol international waters and promote unhindered shipping intrests.

Obama and the Democrats best hope for a wedge to divide the country during the 2008 election is disappearing and it scares Liberals. 03-lmfao

Quote:"It was a U.S. proposal for the date which is 2015, and an Iraqi one which is 2010, then we agreed to make it 2011," Talabani said in an interview with al-Hurra TV, a transcript of which was posted on his party's website on Wednesday.

This makes Obama's promise largely academic.

McCain's surge strategy worked and that's not good for Obama.

Quote:The American military will hand over responsibility for the security of Anbar Province, once a stronghold of the Sunni insurgency and one of the most violent regions in Iraq, to the Iraqi government as early as next Monday, Iraqi and American officials said on Wednesday.
