FB-Running Back Depth Concern
Ponder this:

With Jayson Jones departure and Goodrum not being available your depth at RB looks like this:

Blevins
Priest
Welch

and then three true freshmen. True there are a number of players (harrison, tyler jones and white) who have played RB.

Which makes Jones departure even more puzzling!

I believe Welch is a sleeper and will play a major role on this years team. Very quick and explosive. I think he is a major reason Jones quit he was scared Welch was going to pass him up in the depth chart and he would be getting very little PT.

EMU09 is echoing my earlier remarks about Welch and he is correct, this kid can play with speed and quickness. He may be a sleeper to fans/us but certainly not to the coaches and players. I think added to the RB mix now will be Sherrer and Galloway....wait a minute!!!...what about McMahon there?
