I'm not him, but in West Los Angeles, about 50 or so miles west of the epicenter, we had a good shake. Doesn't sound like there were any significant injuries or damage. So, a fun one.

SMN is in Riverside County, if I recall, and could be closer to the epicenter.

RE: SMN1256...did you feel the quake?
I'm in Corona in Riverside County and I felt it big time. I was just about to have lunch when the house started shifting sideways. A few pictures on the wall shifted, a lamp on a chain was swinging pretty wildly and a few things on shelves moved around a bit. It's a good thing I'm off today because my wife was concerned about the house and the cats, hamsters and fish (curioulsy, she didn't ask if I was OK). Speaking of which, one of my cats was begging me for food right up to the shaking. Either cats can't tell when these things happen (as has been rumored) or my cat's just plain retarded.

Is there any way I can blame this on Obama or Pelosi?

No. Global warming caused it.

RE: SMN1256...did you feel the quake?
I saw a documentary a few years ago about California's earthquakes and it said that the LA area is moving north a few inches at a time towards Alaska and in 50 million years it will be there.

Is Alaska a red or blue state?
