mac recruiting to date
Heard that CMU has 18 verbal commits to date. I believe EMU has 2 announced verbals. Would seem that CMU has nearly completed their current class whereas EMU is just getting started. Not as bad as it sounds, I believe Genyck will get a lot of good players in the fold soon.

Truth be told CMU, MSU and Cincy are cleaning up recruiting wise.

But remember a verbal is only a verbal. Genyk and staff have put together a competitive MAC team using undiscovered gems. Quiz: How many recruiting services had players like Holtzclaw or White in their database or Zach Johnson the answer is none. Josh Williams wasn't in a database either. EMU has for now and I do mean now limited community and student support, alum support is very slowly getting better. Facility wise we have alot of catching up to do. What do we have to offer then? A competitive schedule, a chance to play Div I football and I mean in some cases right away and a school with excellent academics and a program that cares about the athlete as student.

I think a breakeven or winning season would turn recruiting around. We're still playing catch up.
