I think Obama made a tactical error in not inviting Fox News
During the nomination process I noticed a few conservative outlets were not overtly hostile to Obama. The Drudge report is the 1st to come to my mind. I also thought O'Reilly hasn't been bad. When Chris Wallace asks to be a part of the media contingent, you made a mistake in denying him his request. The outcome of this election will be tight. If you could pick off 5% or better yet let them vote for Barr because they don't see you as that big of a threat you'd probably seal the deal. It makes no sense to me in freezing Fox News out before you become President. Why make them a hostile party. Sure, you have to look over the baby's mama swipes and the madrassa stories but sometimes you have to be practical.

My view is. The Republican's fell into a sack of sh_t and came out smelling like a rose again. Through their nomination process they came up with the only candidate capable of winning the election wwith an R by his name. If the traditional GOP candidate was running he would of been trounced. They have to make Barack the boogeyman. The utter destruction of our very existence type of stuff. You've seen the playbook right here in our spin room.

The overt swipe at Fox News will not go unpunished. The stuff I have read about the underpinnings of Fox News show a velvet glove with an iron hand. An ounce of sugar far outweighs a gallon of vinegar. Obama would of been wise to heed that advice.
