Contact Info for TBR and various politicians
I don't have a list for all of the members of the selection committee but if you are interested in writing a letter please do so. Someone on a previous post had a good idea to try to influence the SGA representatives. That same person also suggested talking with the people on the committee from the business community. Unfortunately, I think most, if not all, are either buddies with Dr. Stanton, Mr. Mullins or Ms. Paty. That being said, I am sure you could easily find some contact info for the SGA reps or the business leaders.

I have attached the contact information that I have.

Thanks in advance for your help.

RE: Contact Info for TBR and various politicians
You know, I posted this about three weeks ago.

I have contacted all of the people above and many have contacted me.

And NOBODY on this board has so much as posted "I'm there with you! Happy to help!"

What I have found in my discussions with the people in the presidential selection process has been disheartening, because many have gotten back in touch with me.

One of whom- who was an ETSU grad- thought ETSU was still in the OVC.

They had no idea what had happened to athletics. They did, however, know Stanton had raised a lot of money for the school (so why did NOTHING but the sainted PHARMACY SCHOOL see it?).

How did they know that? Because that's what the ETSU flacks have told them, and there hasn't been nearly enough countercriticism from other sources. The only side of the story the TBR knows is the side ETSU tells them.

I'm telling you, it is time- NOW- for a media blitz. Because ETSU is going to do it telling us how great Stanton has been, and the public perception is very close to being, if it isn't already, "Oh, the football team had to go and only a small amount of fools miss it."

Pitt, you may not like this, but I think if Brian Smith interviewed a lot of the people on the committee, making them answer the tough questions about ETSU and asked what qualities they were looking for in a president that would correct it, it would accomplish a number of goals. For one, it would show the people on the committee that everything wasn't roses at ETSU. Two, it would show that there is a big public interest in this selection, and three, it would show the people in the public who care that they can't just sit idly by and let this thing happen.

Brian Smith is one of the best friends we've got right now.

Dude- I've been your best friend since they day this crap began.

How 'bout a little love, okay?

Not theposterformerlyknownasthedoctor coming here calling me a liar because he's not king of the board, not Rod Shaw coming on here trying to call Ed DeChellis a lousy coach and holding a grudge because I called him out on it, not MotherDucker on here doing whatever it is he's trying to accomplish, not BuccaneerLover lying about the EXACT SAME AWARDS I HAVE WON THAT SMITH HAS NOW, not superfan coming on here sending me private messages saying that I'm garbage because I don't go to games running around like a maniac and believe every bit of propaganda ETSU spews forth, not Fan1 allowing people to take unwarranted shots at me, not 68 asking "Where did you go to college?", not Bucky Dent accosting me at a basketball game and falsely accusing me of calling him fat when I have never even met him nor do I know what he looks like, not Smith getting into a huff when I merely pointed out that in his enterprise piece he should have quoted Mullins more on here, not ETSU calling up any employer I have asking them to fire me, not Ron Bliss emailing me saying I should move, and therefore abandon my mother, not John Mongle calling me up at my house accusing me of "slandering him on the internet" (which is a pretty good trick) and threatening to sue me, not you creating the "Sorry Pitt" thread, NOT ANY OF THAT!!!!!

A simple appriciation of the sacrifices I have made, and I have made more than anyone.

That's all I ask. That's all I've ever asked.
