China Olympics
China is trying to show its ascendancy by beating US for most medals.

I'm beating they dope up they're players like crazy. They've been training kids since age 6! The Olympic committee was worried about 'food poisoning' so they had they're own caterers brought in for the athletes.

It's going to be an interesting set of games. I doubt China will let NBC show protests. China wants to show off to the rest of the world, but the rest of the world doesn't want any part of a nation with such a poor human rights, pollution, and racist record.

The Olympic committee picked a poor place for the games. Hopefully there will be a great jesse owens victory over the nazi's moment. Or USA hockey beating the Russians.

RE: China Olympics
Somewhere I read that China is forcing certain factories to shut down in advance of the games to reduce pollution. I think they're also taking tons of cars off the street.

I wonder how freely the American press will be able to operate? Do the Chinese have the ability to censor everything? We might not really know until the reporters come home after the games.
