you do and you should
Quote:But everybody wasn't on the Big East board talking crap like you were.
You act as if there are a lot of people on these boards, there is not.
Quote:I don't know, but here's a question, why is USF, despite all of those disadvantages, putting a Top 25 team on the field and UCF sn't, has a better attendance then UCF, is beating UCF regularly, being set up for marquee national television games and UCF isn't, and is in a BCS conference and UCF isn't? Once again, not bashing, just thing about that.
Not sure what product on the field has to do with budget, I am pretty sure that the athletic budget of Utah is smaller then both UCF and USF, however, it did not stop them from beating OU in the Fiesta bowl.
USF better attendance, that would be because of the Buc's larger stadium, UCF averaged 44,018 which is 97.17% of the stadium capacity. Let's see what USF does without the help of UCF and WVU this year. Going back to my other point, USF has good attendance, but are they making money off of those tickets.
Quote:Probably because UCF has more expenses to pay then USF? And USF's budget could very easily increase by 10 million if USF wins the Big East conference. The Big East's new television deal will increase the budget significantly in and of itself. The football deal alone doubles. Then the basketball deal will pump in an extra 3 or 4 million.
Huh?
Do you understand what a budget is? It is the balancing of revenues with expenses. To have the expenses, you must have the revenues to pay for it, thus the term "balanced budget." Yes UCF has more expenses with the football stadium but that MUST mean they have more revenues as well. Also, what is with the "if's"? Hey, IF UCF win the BCS national championship, they will get $18MM more. That would just mean that UCF earned more money then they budgeted. You numbers are pure B.S.
Quote:Haha! Here comes STK looking for a reason for USF's attendance success. Giving away tickets!?
Just asking the questions of where all the money is?
Quote:Probably because the majority of UCF's budget is used to pay off expenses like stadium and facilities?
Oh but not true again as pointed out by Cuban. UCF's debt service last year on the stadium was just over $1MM and never going to more than $4MM in any single year. Thus, it will never be more than 20% of the budget, but considering that this years number is more around $2MM, that number is closer to 6% of the budget.
Quote:We know the difference, apparently you don't.
No, you don't know the difference.
