I recieved a letter about three weeks ago saying that the ticket office would be contacting me about season tickets and still no responce. No one else in my tailgating group has been contacted either.

Well, pick up the phone and call the ticket office ( 975-uab1 ) and inquire.

When I called to confirm their receipt of my check, they did confirm it and said tix would be sent out about Aug. 1st with parking pass included.

No :banghead:the letter stated they would contact me in the next week......as did the others letters. I was just wondering why no one had called. Obviously everyone did not get this letter.

First let me say that I am not complaining about the people in the ticket office, they are always nice to me. But they did make a mistake a few years ago on my season ticket order. I called the TOffice and ordered season tickets and some away games. They charged my Credit card and I thought everything was OK. When the tickets came out, none came to my house. They kept saying it was in the mail but ten days before the first game I still did not have tickets. Then they said I did not order tickets. Well-- they wanted to see my CCard statement, which I had thrown away many months ago. I was upset but they said they they would send me a set of season tickets and not charge me until I could get a statement from my CCard company.
TWo days later, I got a call from the Ticket Office and they advised that a season ticket holder with a first name that was my last name and my last name was his first name, got two extra season tickets and away game ticket he did not order.
I know things can get mixed up. And the people were always nice to me.
But now--I always make a special trip to the ticket office and pay in person and get a written receipt-- Plus I now keep my credit card statements

I said all that to say this--
If you want action call the ticket office. If I had waited on them I would have had no tickets.

But what was kinda nice was I paid for two season tickets they sent me the two tickets and also the other replacement tickets. I ended up with four sets of tickets. They told me to just to bring the tickets to the office the next time I was in Bham.
I tried to give them to the ticket window at Legion Field but they did not know what I was talking about and would not take them. After calling the ticket office they said just to keep them and bring some friends.
So that is why I cannot be too mad at the ticket office.
