This is what North Texas's stadium is supposed to look like but who knows if it will ever get built either.

But, it was green and it looked good. It's the slow season and I posted it for your comments. 04-cheers

That is sweet....When we get an on campus stadium someday, what will it be named? I think Hilyer Stadium has a nice ring to it.

I think that we can name it after the person who comes up with the money :)

I think Mile High Stadium will be an appropriate name since the money will magically appear out of thin air.

Morte Coliseum. I like it. 05-stirthepot

It DOES have a nice ring to it. 04-rock

Oh, and I'd settle for a new practice field. God the current one is horrible. I even hate playing intramurals there.

Sure, it isn't coming soon, but despite all the doom and gloom there are still some people making money. The energy problem will be solved (there is too much money involved for it not to be solved), the economy will swing up again, and if UAB is winning and attracting people some Blazers will have the foresight to take the initiative and build a multi-purpose-but-mostly-football stadium in Southside. The way UAB blows it is either by closing shop and folding or just not caring.

Butts in seats, win games, it will come.

Milo's Stadium!

Step 1: Milo's donates a good chunk of money to build the stadium.
Step 2: In turn, we give Milo's the right to a huge "Milo's Cafe" restaurant within the front gate of the stadium. Also, they can sell Sweet Tea and other assorted Milo's paraphernalia at games, and play that little jingle during timeouts.
Step 3: Blazer fans and Milo's addicts come out of the woodwork to enjoy the new stadium, while visiting fans get addicted to the sweet tea and 'that secret sauce that's known all around', generating more revenue for the company.

Win/win baby!

DING DING DING DING DING - WE HAVE A WINNER

I am all for this. I would like for it to be the first 24 hour Milo's so that when I am in need of a fix at 2:30 AM, I could get it.

Another side benefit of this stadium is that hospital revenues are projected to quadruple in the first three years from coronary bypass, weight loss clinics, and gastro banding techniques.

Bring on the Mighty Blazer Burgers!!!!

My God, that Milo's plan is pure genius!

We would just have to reinforce all the seating and make sure the seats are extra wide as well. Personally, I would gain a couple of pants sizes if I could stuff my face with Milo's Double Cheeseburgers during Blazer events.

We would gain fans by the 1,000s.

Imagine what our line would look like if part of the meal plan included all you could eat Milo's. We would certainly beef up the line.
