No offense, but I question where you get your information.

I've never been able to decide whether he pulls it out of the air or out of his arse.

I'll go with my pick from last year, Swayze Waters, punter.

Look at the Memphis game. If the kitties hadn't had abysmal field position the whole game, they'd have beat us a lot worse.

blazerfan13 Wrote:Basically, the question should be, what is not a weakness, because just about every position other than quarterback, kicker, and secondary is a blatant weakness. One thing everyone is leaving out is the people who will not be eligible next year because of grades. I find that odd considering that Mackin said our APR for the fall was above 925, and that Spring was on course for the same. You can't score a 925 and have a bunch of players be ineligible.

Our best player will be - UAB Blazers. We are a team and should not be pointing out individuality. Hence, CNC's reason for no names on the jerseys 05-stirthepot .

APR is based on the previous year. thats why we lost 9, going back to last year's turnover. Won't say any names, but a significant OL, DL, and RB. You can knock me all you want but when you find out you heard it here first.

The failing APR score we got was based on last year. The 925 score that Mackin mentioned in the article was for the Fall 2007 semester and the Spring 08 semester was on course to be above 925 as well. I don't have any inside information, that was in the Bham news.

But I will say, we didn't have any significant RBs last year, so that shouldn't really matter!

>shrug< Actually, he's fairly safe as long as he stays general. It's a pretty good bet that a player or two will have some kind of disciplinary or academic problem, then he can point at them as day "See! I was right!".
