Saw this on 280 a while back and had to take a quick picture. Do they still sell this style and if so how do you get it? I like the classic design.

Interesting that the Turd and Tiggers plates are at the top. Everyone else is in alphabetical order???

It looks like that tag was last renewed in 2005.

You can't get the old style, I think it's legal to put the renewal stickers on the old tags as long as your number hasn't changed. If you sign up for a tag now, you'll get the new style.

I think it's time for an update, though I do like the tags. They're newer and better looking than the Auburn tags, though to be honest the UA tags are rather nice and clean.

I've got a personalized UAB plate, looks great although it took forever to come in the mail.

I took the pic in 05. I just came across it the other day where I saved it on the 'puter.

Auburn and Alabama tags made up 67% of the vanity plates used last year, totaling 40,766 plates between the two of them. That's why they're at the top as opposed to alphabetical order.

Well, that and this is Alabama.

It's a bit surreal getting a package in the mail from the Alabama Dept. of Corrections, Atmore, AL, though.

old style wasn't offered [May '08] when I purchased a UAB tag for OB3's car.
I've had both, and prefer the current offering.

Mine came from Holman also.

I ordered it the day after Christmas (got a new car for Christmas), the temporary tag didn't expire until the end of February, and I got it like February 20th. DMV employees have got to be the most negative, zombie-like, depressed people in existence.

I had to drive around for 2 months with a yellow piece of paper taped to my back window.

I think I'll get one when my tag comes up for renewal.

I have my old style UAB tag on my desk. When we were trying to get the tags way back when, we had a push. We had to have 50 people sign up for a tag. I was the 21st person to sign up and thus my tag number was 21B.
