"Seasonal Layoffs"
As I stood in the unemployment line for the first time in my life, I heard one of the Unemployment Office employees say that this was their busiest time of year for layoffs.
I didn't realize that. I am now part of a statistic that Jim Lehrer reads off during the "News Hour" report. How comforting to know.
So, if you or your company are in the market for a stellar Engineer (Master's in Mechanical with concentration in Biomedical Systems) with incredible writing and managerial skills, send me a PM. Please. I will be happy to proivide you with my resume, and several Physician, professional, and personal references.
To those of us currently seeking gainful employment - Good Luck!
Thank you for your time.

Since you're a Tiger, this is Tiger Related. Move it to the main board, and good luck.

Best wishes for your job search. I recommend sending lots of resumes. Use ASME magazine and other engineering publications to find addresses of companies. Remember what I tell folks who are doing a job search, "you don't need to find a bunch of jobs, you just need one job."
I eventually took my MSME and my experience and started my own company. If you have professional contacts who would use your services, this is a possible solution. If you want to pursue this option, PM me and I will give you the benefit of my experience after 12 years in business.
