Will someone please tell me exactly how you score and animal once it has been hunted and killed. I understand what people mean if they say they got an 8 point buck, but I don't get the whole score thing.

I am starting to think Memphis should be a lock for expansion. I say this because it is not too far out of the footprint, and brings a whole new market. I think large urban schools can def find a lot more in common with the eastern schools, rather than rural schools.

I also think Temple is a lock. So ten would be nice with Memphis and Temple. Or stick at nine if Syracuse bolts.

Yeah, like I said, I understand that whole part. That is pretty straight forward, but what I don't get is the whole scoring thing. That is what my question is. Is it some sort of computation regarding rack spread, points, body weight, etc. etc.? Like, I believe the biggest elk buck in Kentucky has scored a 277. I also understand the difference about atypical as well.

Mike, in scores like Boone and Crockett, they measure the brow and the beam of the antlers plus they count the points. Go to there web site and it show you how they measure and score a rack. It is a precise formula. 04-cheers

Would you consider The Black Crows a southern rock band?

RE: What would we talk about if not for expansion?
Just got back from the Brickyard 400 in Indianapolis. I have a few observations to share...

1. Why is it that every time I go to a race Jimmie Johnson wins? I'm a Gordon, Jr., Nemecheck, Waltrip, Army Car fan.
2. The race was aweful. They called competition cautions EVERY 10-15 laps for tire wear.
3. At least Harvick crashed early on and finished near last!02-13-banana
4. The new Lucas Oil Stadium for the Colts in Indy looks amazing! It dwarfs the Dome there now. It is a giant building that is very easy on the eyes.
5. I hadn't driven through Indy in many years, other than passing on the interstate. What a great area, with the stadium, NCAA headquarters, zoo, etc.

My wife was watching the show, Extreme Home Makeover, and the guy who got a new house had his bedroom decked out floor to ceiling in WVU Mountaineer stuff. I though, "how aweful!"

You would. It would really be bad if it was all decked out in Louisville Cardinal stuff. That would drive me nuts in no time flat. :yikes:

Speaking of Home Makeovers... My wife and I just moved into a bigger place. I'm still in the process of making over mine. Most of it's still in boxes, waiting for me to locate or assemble places to put 'em. My dogs is barkin'. So's the rest of the pack...

I hope it doesn't take the entire football season to complete

My wife absolutely hates moving. It makes her monster come out. fortunately the when we have to move the Army comes and packs the boxes, loads the truck, delivers, and unloads all the boxes into the new house. That is a big stress reliever for my family. BUT, like you said, then the work starts with unpacking all the boxes.

I never thought I would say this but I pray Hillary wins so I have some one I can vote for.

Dont let them scare you about Barack. He has outlined all of his plans, they are readily available on his website. The idea that he is just speaches is one of the republican strategies to beat him. Its not based in reality. They are trying to use the fact that he is a good speaker against him.

If by "republican tactic", you mean exactly the same thing the clinton's have been saying about Obama for over a year now, then sure.

As far as his website, I've checked it out. Unfortunately it keeps changing -- oil, fisa, iraq -- he holds different positions on these issues (more favorable towards polling numbers) than he held a few months ago before he got the nod.

I think what bugs me the most about Obama is that he's selling himself as something different when he's playing the exact same spin/populist game as everyone else. Any other year, the guy wouldn't have made it out of the primaries and would certainly be getting trounced by a former pow.

I was just learning a little more about beach volleyball. It seems that I need to pay more attention to the finer aspects of this game.

Seems to me the swimsuits up the butt would be uncomfortable? But I am sure it has helped with the popularity of the sport.
