ksubbfan Wrote:He is a little soft but he has a big upside. He can shoot the 3 and get to the hole. I believe Auburn is looking to be more athletic and run up and down the court. He also has been in an SEC program and has been hitting the weights. He won't dominat the ASun but he can become all conference.

i like a big man that can shoot, and i like that he's athletic..the soft part is scaring me. Soft players dont do to well with Ingle. How does he look defensively and what about his hustle?

He hustles and can play defense. He is just not a banger that some who is 6'9 240 should be. He reminds you of a european player, someone with great size that likes to shoot from outside. He held his on in the SEC on the defensively.

He will be plenty physical for the ASun. He is not physical enough for the SEC. Trust me, if Heramb is WILLING TO WORK and comes in with a great attitude, then he could become great for Kennesaw. If he comes in thinking he is big time because he transferred in from an SEC school then he will be an average player, and will waste the great talent that he was given.

RE: Bad News: Tanner Flies the nest
We had a 6'9" PF/C two years ago (Brad Knuckles, as many of you may remember) that sounds very familiar to this kid. He was a big man that had a great outside touch. Brad's numbers weren't always great, but his combination of size and skill caused some serious matchup problems for opposing teams. His size and length also "clogged the lane", which was so important, but also invisible to most. If this kid is similar to Knuckles, then he will be able to contribute in intangible ways. It's a little silly, but the olding coaching cliche' does hold some validity: "You can't teach heigth."

Just watching him play he is a lot better than Knuckles. Matt can take you to the hole off the dribble. I believe Knuckles is better on the block than Heramb. But if he turns out better than Knuckles than KSU will be trouble.

I think Knuckles is a fair comparison. Heramb is a more skilled big man than Knuckles, but Knuckles was better in the post. Their defense is similar, in my opinion. Knuckles was huge for your team the two years we played yall with him. He seemed like a very unselfish player...I always liked him.
