Home bball attendance average
Does anyone know where I can find the average attendance to the KSU home games for this past season (and others if possible)?

I'm a freshman at KSU right now and obviously this was our best year since 2002 and I was just wondering what attendance was like compared to other seasons. I think Akron was the only sellout (OU was close) this year. Does any other games sell out besides Akron??

Thanks.

You can find those numbers at the MAC official website.

Scroll down about halfway through the statistics and you'll find attendance for all MAC schools ... its the last team statistical category before you get to individual leaders.

Here's the link to this year's stats:

http://www.nmnathletics.com/fls/9400/Sta...nfldrs.htm

Kent State's average home attendance was 3,710 per game. Third in the league behind Ohio (5,135) and Toledo (4,605).

On average Kent State filled the M.A.C. Center to 58.6-percent capacity over 16 home games.

They only have the last three seasons available.

Here's the link to those:

If you need to go further back, try calling the KSU sports information department. The people there are very helpful. Todd Vattter is the basketball contact. Alan Ashby is the head of the department. You can reach them at (330) 672-2110

You are very welcome,
I'm happy to help.

Haven't been able to sleep lately do to all the activity. In fact, I'm so wound up tonight after work that I've been reading all the posts here trying to keep up with what everyone is thinking. It's good for me. I take notes and try to work the things people are interested in into what I write during the week, or address issues people are trying to understand or work out in a column.
