The WAC's contract with ESPN is only $900,000. WAC schools who participated in non Saturday televised games received an " inconvenience fee." The WAC is lowering the "inconvenience fee" for the 2008 season as some schools didn't receive any television money in 2007.

The questions regarding Temple are:

How is The MAC / ESPN contract money divided? What is the value of the ESPN/ MAC contract? My guess is it must be comparable to The WAC/ESPN contract? Does The MAC have an "inconvenience fee"?

Its a question that nobody outside of the MAC office can give a any kind of definite answer to.

The latest MAC numbers from 2004 show a TV package worth 683,000 per year. That number is closer now to 1 million and could be worth even more with the syndicated package.

there must be inconvenience fee, that's the only explanation for so many tues & wed games. MAC probally doubles contract with 10 fee's.
