MAC Quarters Any upsets??
March 13- Quarterfinals
(7) Eastern Michigan vs. (2) Western Michigan, Noon
(6) Central Michigan vs. (3) Akron, 2:30 pm
(8) Toledo vs. (1) Kent State, 7:00 pm
(5) Miami vs. (4) Ohio, 9:30 pm
Obviously, The Miami/ OU matchup should be the most fun to watch but does anybody see any upset possibilities? I give CMU much more than a punchers chance to take down the Zips. The Chipps, even without Minnoy, can be a physical bunch and traditionally that is the style of play that can pose a problem for Akron. Also, the Zips have not been shooting it well and still may have a bit of a black eye after the Kent loss.

as we've seen this season any of these games can be an upset. id say look for at least one of the lower seeds to pull off a win

Eastern Michigan has played well winning 7 of 10......young team getting better. They are a team not to be overlooked.

While any of the four lower seeded teams are certainly capable of winning, the only one that I think is likely to win is Miami. However, I'd certainly love to see an Ohio-Toledo semifinal tomorrow night, with the winner set to play either EMU or CMU in the final.

Nope. The Men's tourney ended last night. Women's is still going on though.

I was at the Q for BG's BiG win over Kent Tuesday and we have my wife's company's suite for tomorrow's game with Ohio U. If BG wins again tomorrow, I'll be back Saturday to see BG go for their 4th straight Tourney title as well. :ncaabbs:

Got to give him a lot of credit for what he did do though. I really thought BGSU would be in the dumper for the next couple of years and it sure doesn't look like that now.
