RE: MAC football schedule released
I like what I see (first looks).

I see some October games which look nice for regional TV.

WMU @ CMU (Oct. 18) looks like a TV game if I've seen one. 02-13-banana

Akron @ KSU (Oct. 4) looks very possible.

BTW, the season lasts one additional week.

Check out the date of the MACC. 03-shhhh

What are they doing with games in the middle of the week and games on Fridays with no ESPN TV designations?

They just like having weekday games in the middle of November, you know, to help attendance and stuff.

Hoping for that over-the-air package ala '07.

BTW, I assume the schedule is all screwed up as T'giving is so late this year.

Any chance you could score me a couple of tickets for the KSU game before they sell out?

Only if you are on Comcast Chicago or possibly CN8 or Comcast Sports Net New England.

BTW, most of our fans can't stand our schedule.

I'm sure there will be another ESPN+ game of the week deal like last year.

RE: MAC football schedule released
Is anyone happy with their schedule??? While the opponents are very well matched for the owls the dates and time are set up for a disastrous attendance number. Got to win early or suffer dearly late (that hasn;t happened since Madonna was tops for rock and roll....) Unless the owls have only 1-2 losses they may end the season with even less fans at both the EMU and Kent games to close out the year. 2 of the first seven games are on the road....

and a FYI... Temple is moving the home sideline to the other side of the field so that TV cameras will be pointed at the more populated side of the stadium...

Actually, according to the MAC website, the Central game could be ESPN360, not ESPNU. And the Kent State game isn't scheduled to be on at all.

I'm, happy with Toledo's schedule, 6 home games including BG, CMU, Ball St. and Fresno St. and a another home game at EMU and a short road trip to Ann Arbor. Can't beat it.

We got a post from an NIU grad that we are pretty confident that works for the ESPN website. This is what ESPNIU's post said:

2008 Football
NIU at Ball State: Wed., Nov. 5, 8 p.m. on ESPN2 or ESPNU
CMU at NIU: Wed., Nov. 12, 7 p.m. on ESPN2 or ESPN360
Navy at NIU: Tue., Nov. 25, 6 p.m. on ESPN2

So yes, you are correct that it could be ESPN360. I think that CMU will be good enough come that time that the game will be on ESPN2.
