Max

Check out the dunk at the 39 sec. mark.

“And Jason Maxiell had a nasty throw down”…you think she wrote that?

looks like he got there late too! it's amazing what freakish athleticism can do for you, eh max? perhaps get you a first round look in the draft even though you're undersized at your position...?

Maxiell isnt tall enough, he's a couple inches too short. 03-lmfao

Maxiell is going to be a solid contributor for a long time. I look forward to watching him continue to improve.

Awesome block. I don't think I've ever seen an alleyoop blocked like that.
Every time I see how well Max is doing in the NBA makes me wonder why Hicks never got the same chance, considering their similarities.

I think you can up your prediction of being a solid contributor.

I see him starting once McDyess retires

Evertime I see how well Max is doing in the NBA it makes me wonder why he didn't average 20/10 as a senior.

Balance. You had Hicks, White, and Kirkland in the mix, all were competing for points. White and Kirkland were oversized for their position and they also helped on the boards given their height.

Other teams would double on him. That is how Hicks emerged into the player he became. Teams would focus on Maxiell, leaving Hicks open on the weak side. I was hoping that the same thing would happen when Hicks was a senior and McGowan was a junior. Unfortunately McGowan wasn't even half the player Hicks and Max were.

Hicks was never the offensive threat Max was. Though Hicks did put up about 16 and 10 his last year. He never had an established move outside a put back (usually a sweet dunk). Nothing every looked easy for Hicks, he did develop an alright jumpshot, but everything he got, he worked hard for it. I guess that's what happens when your entire diet consists of eating babies.

How nice it would be to have that type of team again.

Denver-Detroit on Fox Sports (here at least). Kenyon and Max both having good nights, but the Nuggets are taking a butt whippin.
