Yeah, we were talking about doing this place up nice. Owl's Nest seems like an appropriate name. If you want help doing a skin or something I can do it. I'm a graphic designer by trade. I'd just need a skin template. If you have someone who does it, thats cool too. Just let me know.

I am not a student, so you will have to talk to some other people about the flyers. Kennesaw is a growing campus, so this board is really going to take off once we have a good year (hopefully 08-09 if we get our recruits in).

No need. KSU was better when they were in Division II (see Smack Talk section of this board). A skin would be a waste of time.

I 2nd the nomination made by 0003. As bad as Kevster speaks of KSU, he speaks of ETSU even worse. Welcome to the boards Kevster...you are our honorary sour apples poster, since we don't have any of those. ETSU seems to have a surplus, so it is only fair that we get one to balance out all of our optimism.

Any news on this? I think "The Owl's Nest" and a black and gold skin similar to our web page would be much better than the orange and blue we have going on right now :)

I'm going to create the skin. Owl's Nest? Owl Nation? We'll get some nice black and gold going. Maybe throw in some maroon to keep it interesting.

I've been wondering, but what is up with all the maroon around campus. Like the seats in the convocation center and some maroon being added to shirts. Did I miss something where we added maroon on as a color?

PLEASE NO MAROOON!!!! We are not the university of Georgia @ Kennesaw. Please keep it black and gold. Those are our school colors...just because Dr. Siegel made some of the Convocation Center seats Red, does not make it a school color.

Nick - I know that for some reason the university is trying to integrate red, I just think it is a bad idea. Red = Georgia in the state of Georgia. I think we distinguish ourselves by being our own colors. Plus i think the red, black, and gold doesn't look as good as straight up black and gold.

Good work on the skin - I would probably do something about the Owl eyes - they seem a bit crowded. Either take them out or possibly move them to the row of text that lists "NCAAbbs/AsunBBs/Atlantic Sun Team Talk/Kennesaw State/etc...." as the background to that text. Might flow nicely. Either way though, I like the color scheme, and the absence of red :)
