BG Women take title...again...
CONGRATS to Coach Miller and the players for winning the 4th straight MAC regular season title! I was at the JAR last night to see the Falcons put the finish on a 24-6, 13-3 MAC season. BG ends the year on a 9 game winning streak after losing 3 in a row ealier. With mostly Freshmen and Sophomores on the team, this is, no doubt, a dynasty.
Now, on to the Q and hopefully a 4th straight MAC Tourney title as well!
ROLL ALONG YOU BG WARRIORS!!!!!

Yes, congratulations. This was a title won by a late run in the game in Oxford, handing Miami their only loss in their last 10 games. Coach Miller has done another remarkable job. With the talented Freshmen and the Akron transfer around for several more years, this could turn into a dynasty.

Turn into a dynasty? What...four titles in a row doesn't qualify as a dynasty already?

Amen. The last four years have resulted in the most victories of any MAC program in history. No denying that!

I often go back to the "good old days" in the 80's and early 90's. I must now stop myself: These are the good old days. The teams taking the floor now are far superior to those teams I watched as an undergrad.
I'm very happy for these girls, Miller, and his assistant coaches. I'm just a fan, but this has been a great ride.

Very good yes, but "far superior" to Motyka, McGuire, Backstrom, Bonner et al, is quite an overstatement.

I stand by my statements. The teams taking the court during this four year run would knock the snot out of Vol's teams.

I would love to have seen Fran's teams with a 3 point line.

They had it for at least half of his tenure. He started in the 84/85 season with the line introduced 87/88. Voll's last season was 90/91.
I still stand by my statement.
