RE: Falcons take down Kent...
I can personally say that Reggie never went near the scorer's table to hit the buzzer.
I don't know what to say about the game. 96 points and only 3 guys in double figures. 12 guys scored. UB with more points in the first half than BG had the entire game.
I hate to break this to the BG folks, but if you weren't aware, UB is not very good. They have no inside game, can't shoot from the outside, and they turn the ball over a lot.
Even after a 26 point halftime lead, I fully expected BG to make a run in the second half to at least cut it into single digits. UB is more than capable of turning the ball over and blowing big leads.
The only downside was that I've liked Louie Orr since he was a player at Syracuse. Would have been sweeter with Dakach! Also, good to see that some of the UB young guys have some upside, expecially freshman Alston. There is hope for next year!

It is my belief that at home, BGSU plays to the abilities of their opponents.
On the road, BGSU plays.........not so well. This is something that I feel Coach Orr and his coaching staff are going to improve but it will take some time.

Yet again, your ignorance is abhorrent. Can you spell T - O - L - E - D - O ?
There is a 40 year trend for BG. Does the difference between the BG home game on Saturday and their road game on Tuesday seem like a normal dropoff in a road game to you?

Ahem, one game does make a trend skippy. Please do some research and come with some facts instead of 40 years of delusions.

Congrats to Buffalo on kicking our asses. Ouch. The Bulls may be a bad team but even bad teams can play great games. I remember in 1998, unbeaten (8-0) Marshall came in to Perry Stadium to face a 2-5 BG team...and the Falcons rolled 34-13. BG is still an improved team but we have lots of flaws.
I am still happy with what Coach Orr has done this year. As far as the tourney? Who knows?

I noticed that it was OK for you to cite UT's record this year for your rebuttal, but aside from that, does 40 years since BG's last NCAA bid represent a trend? This is not a program which has suffered through years of bad teams. For the most part, BG has had strong teams.

Yeah, you are right. The last time BG went to the dance they defeated OU on their home court to win the MAC tournament title. Oh, wait.........I guess the ref's had better sight lines for that game.
