Tigers/Vols - What a game!
04-cheers
To the Vol Nation............
Greetings from Memphis! Your team played very well last night. I admit, I'm not a Vol fan, but I must give credit were it's due. I have been to all our home games this year and I must say your team played with more HEART than any other I've seen. They obviously wanted it more than my Tigers. They EARNED the victory the hard way and just plain "out-scrapped" us. This, hopefully, was the "wake-up" call we needed before tourney time.
Our state was on stage for the whole nation to see, and I don't think we disappointed them.
Congrats again!

It indeed was a great game. I am a Tennessee Vols fan. Have been for 38 years. I live here in Memphis but was born and raised in Knoxville. I am so proud of our guys for the way they played. They did play with a lot of heart. The pregame talk by Coach Pearl was all it took to get them in game mode. It was a great game for all to see. Really showcased how good the state of Tennessee is where basketball is concerned. One of the best games I have ever seen. I will have to say congrats to the Tigers also for playing a great game.

A loyal Tennessee fan.
