because as a white sux owners he's too busy trying to kill the cubs. Anything in the trib, is from Zell.

Every other professional sports team in the city, except the Cubs and Bulls, have shown some sort of homage to the victims from last week.

Why couldn't LOUUUUU pinella have donned an NIU hat like ozzie?

I am sure the Bulls will probably do something at their next home game.

Regarding Sam Zell and others.......This is not the time to critique any individuals for what they have not said or done.There is no need to get negative. Just say thanks to those who have been kind.

in reality all of the sports stuff is pandering, unless those people have a connection to NIU. They are nice and appreciated gestures though. I'm not saying they should not do it, but to say that the bulls/cubs or anyone else "should" do domething is not right.

In situations like this it is probably best to appreciate and be thankful for those organizations that have expressed concen and support and just accept that some will and some will not.

It is also best to set any cynical thoughts aside and just assume that the people that do show support are being genuine. The world is still made up of some kind and loving people and we have seen some genuine expressions of love and comfort through this terrible incident.

My opinion of the White Sox organization, their general manager and field manager has gone way up.

sorry for what? Zell is an owner of the other team in chicago, he is also ower of the cubs and trib. Any condolences that are in the trib are de facto from him also since its his business, if he did not want them in teh paper he could stop them from being there.

I think PremierClub was referring to your first sentence - "because as a white sux owners he's too busy trying to kill the cubs." I wasn't sure what you meant by this with reference to why haven't the Cubs said or done anything.
